All This Is is the keenly-awaited debut album from Kaya Usher – some thirty years in the making.

At 20, Montreal native Kaya Usher met Gord Downie at university, and fell madly in love.

Their union would fuel a gorgeous family of six, and inspire some of the most widely loved Tragically Hip songs, like fan anthem Ahead By A Century. After awakening in life anew in the years following Gord’s passing, All This Is was birthed as an homage to the opening up of a new space. The Family Band itself is the unpredicted manifestation of Gord’s life-long desire to see his loved ones make music together as a family unit. A collaboration with Kevin Drew (Broken Social Scene)and two of Kaya and Gord’s children, Willo and Lou, All This Is is all at once a thunderous journey within, a blindingly bright look ahead, and a rapturous embrace of the here and now.
